SAN FRANCISCO: Egypt, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates can begin creating online addresses in their native languages. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) effectively broke the Latin alphabet’s three-decade hold on Internet domain names.
